BUCYRUS—Bruce Truka, a former member of the Bucyrus City Council, has been elected as the new Mayor of Bucyrus. He ran unopposed in the election. Kurt Fankhauser emerged as the winner for the position of City Council President, defeating Allison LeClair and Greg White. Vicki Dishon, Carolyn Shireman, and incumbent Kevin Myers secured Council At Large seats without any opposition. In addition, Chris Mauritz, C. Aaron Sharrock, Zyan Hickman, and James Mee were victorious in their respective wards. Brian Gernert, the Interim Law Director, and City Auditor Kali Lewis also won their offices unopposed.
