SHELBY, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Shelby/Mansfield KOA Resort proudly presented a check for $13,000 to the Tiro-Auburn Volunteer Fire Department on October 7th, marking the culmination of a successful 2023 camping season filled with fundraising events and generous personal contributions from campers.

The funds were raised through a variety of events, including Purse Bingo, Tool Bingo, and Camper Bingo. The Early Spring Discount, which offered a second night’s stay for a donation of $20 to the Tiro-Auburn Volunteers Fire Department, was another popular initiative. Other events, such as Wine and Cheese on The Deck and the Haunted Farm, also contributed to the fundraising efforts.

The Shelby/Mansfield KOA Resort and its camping guests expressed their deep appreciation for the local fire department’s efforts. They are confident that the contribution will be put to excellent use by the Tiro-Auburn Volunteer Fire Department, further strengthening the bond between the resort, its guests, and the local community.
