Visitors to Lowe-Volk Park this coming Saturday morning can literally get their fill of activities.
The Friends of the Crawford Park District will host its annual Pancakes in the Park event from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Park District’s Interactive Tree project to go on display at the Nature Center.
In addition, Bob Placier will be making another visit to Lowe-Volk Park to band birds. That event begins and 7 o’clock Saturday morning and goes on until 1 in the afternoon. Placier and Crawford Park District Naturalist Josh Dyer will monitor mist nets to track birds inhabiting or passing through the park.
