Ranee M. Fox, 69, of Galion passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023, at home.
Born September 29, 1953, in Shelby, she was the daughter of Clarence and Florence (Meyer) Kahler.
She was a graduate of Shelby High School and Pioneer Joint Vocational School. Ranee was a member of First United Church of Christ in Galion. She loved helping people and did cleaning, sewing, and any job that needed done. Ranee was an avid reader and enjoyed letterboxing, making crafts and cards for others. She liked to swim, water ski, and camp. Ranee especially loved hanging out with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by daughter Rachael M. Worthington of Galion; sister Coleen Shaw of Tampa, Florida; brother Lonnie (Shelley) Kahler of Clyde and grandchildren, Trinady Spayde, Riley Worthington, and Melody Worthington.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son John W. A. Fox.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Steven Court officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Galion.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Humane Society Serving Crawford County in care of the funeral home.
