BUCYRUS―A joint operation conducted by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, the METRICH Enforcement Unit, and local law enforcement agencies resulted in the execution of a narcotics search warrant on June 20th, 2023. The warrant was served at 34 Woodbine Rd in Bucyrus, Ohio 44833, following an investigation into illegal narcotics activity at the location.
Assisting the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office were the Bucyrus Police Department, New Washington Police Department, and the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office. The collaborative efforts of these agencies led to the successful execution of the search warrant.
The primary target of the investigation, identified as Tasia Myers, 36 years old, was taken into custody. Myers was arrested on charges related to trafficking in methamphetamines, which were the focus of the investigation. During the search, deputies discovered and seized suspected methamphetamines, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia from the residence.
Tasia Myers was subsequently transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to face charges, including trafficking in methamphetamines, among others. Additional charges may be considered as the reports are forwarded to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office.
The case remains under investigation by detectives from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
