GALION—The Galion-Crestline Area Chamber of Commerce (GCACC) is thrilled to announce the addition of Freedom Recovery as a new chamber member and office suite member at 138 Harding Way West in Galion.
Founded by individuals who have experienced recovery firsthand, Freedom Recovery has witnessed lives being rebuilt, chains being broken, and futures being redefined through counseling, education, and faith. They are now extending their services to individuals in and around the Galion area.
Freedom Recovery’s Intensive Outpatient Program is specifically designed for individuals struggling with substance abuse who require immediate assistance but are unable to commit to a residential-based program due to work, family, and other responsibilities.
They accept all Medicaid plans and many other insurance providers, offering both daytime and evening substance abuse and addiction counseling treatment sessions to accommodate diverse work schedules. Freedom Recovery follows a proven 12-step model of recovery and employs an evidence-based curriculum. Additionally, they have received accreditation from the Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
“We prioritize meeting our patients where they are,” emphasizes Nick Vega, Chief Operating Officer of Freedom Recovery. “We firmly believe that faith forms a critical foundation for long-term success in recovery. By engaging in honest and open group sessions that address the core issues that led us to this point, we begin to heal and restore mental, emotional, and spiritual balance.”
Vega further elaborates, “While we provide group services, individual counseling, and case management to address clinical needs, we also offer coffee and food whenever possible. We believe that meeting the most basic needs is essential to delve into the transformative work of recovery.”
Miranda Jones, Executive Director of GCACC, expresses her satisfaction in accommodating Freedom Recovery’s growth in Galion and Crawford County, as well as their search for a permanent local office. “They are fulfilling a vital need in our community, and we are pleased to support them in assisting area residents in their recovery journey,” Jones remarks.
“Visit our office to schedule an assessment and discover the life-changing possibilities that lie ahead,” urges Vega. Freedom Recovery can also be contacted by phone at (614) 754-8051 or through their website at www.freedomrecovery.us.
