BUCYRUS—The Bucyrus Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol has successfully relocated to its newly constructed building at 3665 S.R. 4 in Bucyrus, officially commencing operations. The new facility was erected on the same site as its predecessor, which had stood since 1953 and was due for replacement. The demolition and construction project spanned approximately one year.

To commemorate the opening of the state-of-the-art building, the Ohio State Highway Patrol will host a public open house at the facility on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event offers an opportunity for attendees to explore the new premises and engage with troopers, gaining insight into their daily duties and responsibilities. Moreover, troopers from the Office of Recruitment will be present to address inquiries from individuals interested in pursuing a career as a member of the Ohio State Highway Patrol team.
