BUCYRUS—The Bucyrus City Schools announced they will be sponsoring the Summer Food Service Program in partnership with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) from June 5 to July 27, 2023. The program will provide free lunch and breakfast to children between the ages of 1 to 18.

The free lunches will be served at several locations throughout Bucyrus, including Lion’s Field Park from 11:00 a.m. to 11:20 a.m., Aumiller Park from 11:30 a.m. to noon, Bucyrus Elementary School from 11:15 a.m. to noon, Bucyrus High School from 11:15 a.m. to noon, and the Bucyrus Public Library from noon to 1 p.m. Additionally, hot lunches will be available at both Bucyrus Elementary and High Schools.

The breakfast program will be held at Bucyrus High School and Bucyrus Elementary School from 8:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.

It is important to note that in accordance with USDA regulations, all meals must be consumed on-site. Grab-and-go meals will not be offered. There will be no meals served on Tuesday, July 4.
