The county’s efforts to stop drug traffickers continued Wednesday when police arrested two people as a result of a search warrant.
The Bucyrus Police Department, assisted by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, Galion Police Department, METRICH Task Force, and the Crawford County Special Response Team conducted a search warrant at 910 Maple St. around 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Arrested as a result of the search warrant were 30-year-old Shaun McCarty, who resided at the residence, and 26-year-old Khristin Sharp. McCarty has been charged with felony three drug trafficking and drug possession while Sharp has been charged with felony four drug trafficking.
Officers recovered heroin, syringes, scales, and packaging from the home. Crawford County Children Services also assisted law enforcement during the search warrant.
