BUCYRUS—The Bucyrus Fire Department responded to a variety of calls over the weekend, including medical calls, fire alarms, and natural gas investigations.
On Friday, April 5th, the department responded to four separate calls to transport residents to Bucyrus Hospital. Later that day, they assisted a resident on River St.
The following day, the department responded to a fire alarm activation on Woodlawn Ave. and transported another resident to Bucyrus Hospital on W. Mansfield St. They also responded to a natural gas investigation on S. Walnut St. and transported a resident from E. Beal Ave. to the hospital. The department also responded to a medical call on Marion Rd., and two more calls to transport residents to the hospital on E. Irving and Whetstone St.
On Sunday, April 7th, the department responded to three separate medical calls and assisted a resident on Kaler Ave. They also responded to an open burning call on St. Rt. 19 and Albaugh Rd. in Lykens Twp.
The following day, the department responded to a residential structure fire on Milo St. and transported a resident to the hospital on Wedgewood Ct. They also assisted a resident on Tiffin St. and responded to a tree on fire on Marion Melmore Rd. Later that night, the department responded to two separate calls to assist residents on Tiffin St.
On Tuesday, April 10th, the department responded to several medical calls and a carbon monoxide alarm on Sporebrandywine Rd. in Holmes Twp. They also transported residents to Bucyrus Hospital on W. Lucas St. and E. Southern Ave. and responded to an open burn complaint on Ethel St.
