Marjorie “Marge” Lucille Goodrich, 100, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Mill Creek Nursing Home in Galion.
Marge was born in Bucyrus, Ohio, on September 9, 1922, to the late Calvin and Helen (Hill) Iiams. On September 21, 1947, she married Hugh C. Goodrich, who preceded her in death in 1982.
Marge was a 1940 graduate of Crestline High School. She then went on to have a 38-year career at North Electric and Power Company, retiring in 1982. Marge was also a longtime member of the former Crestline English Lutheran Church of Crestline, the Crestline Golden Age Club, Jugs Corner Grange, a 7th-degree member of the National Grange, and a lifetime member of the Crestline VFW.
Marge is survived by her sister, Janis Jacobs of Crestline, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Hugh and her parents, Marge was preceded in death by 5 brothers; Richard, Merald, Russell, Glenn, and Harley, and one sister; Martha.
A Graveside service will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Iberia Cemetery, with Pastor Diana Seaman officiating.
