NORTH BALTIMORE — The Bucyrus Lady Redmen bowlers defeated North Baltimore, 1588-1187, in their last regular-season match.

The win gives Bucyrus (11-1) the championship in the Northern Ohio Bowling League.

Maddison McDaniel led the way with a 304 series, including a team-high game 180. McDaniel was supported by Rylee Powers (289), Kailey Horsley (253), and Ellie Spitler (249). Chloe Thompson and Faith Treese shared a 232 series.

The boys’ varsity team improved to 9-3 on the season with a 2217-1854 win. Brody Higginbotham rolled a 378 to lead the Redmen. Tyson McDaniel and Cody Pennington shared a 383 series with Pennington having the high game of 217.

Seth Price and Gabe Wilson combined for a 360 series, Hyden Rittenberry had a 353, followed by Codyn Coppler with a 273.

The Bucyrus Jayvee White team defeated the Tigers, 1727-1328. Landen Bargar was the top Redmen scorer with a 311 series, with a high game of 200. Next was Bryce Phillips (285), Ben Jones (283), Kyle Pifer (238) and Drew Ashley (223).

The NOBL tournament is scheduled for Saturday at Fostoria beginning at 9:30 a.m.
