Next Tuesday, Jan. 20, at 6 p.m., there will be a Town Hall Meeting at the Galion Public Library, downstairs in the community meeting room.

This is an informational meeting regarding the City of Galion electric rates, including information about the City’s power cost adjustment (PCA) and the City’s investment in the AMP Prairie State Energy Campus (PSEC) power plant. We will be covering how Galion electric rate payers have been overcharged by the City for their electricity. And, we will be officially announcing our “ballot issue” to refund that overcharged amount back to the electric users who were wrongfully and illegally overcharged.

Being overcharged for electricity has affected all City of Galion electric rate payers — residential users, businesses, churches, large power users, and those Galion electric customers outside the City of Galion.

Plan on being an ‘informed’ voter and mark your calendar for this Jan. 20 meeting. The public is encouraged to attend.
