Compared to the past couple of months, Galion’s City Council’s legislative agenda for the first meeting of the New Year is very short.
The only item on that portion of the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting is a first reading of an ordinance authorizing the city’s service/safety director to seek bids for various materials.
Other items City Council is expected to take note of include appointments to the Freese Advisory Board. Mayor Tom O’Leary has indicated Garlan Gledhill will be be his appointment as a member of the private sector and Council President Carl Watt has named Lonnie Eagle as his appointee.
