Live Mural Painting:

Famed barn artist Scott Hagan (known for his work on the bicentennial barns across Ohio) continues work on murals of General Charles Young and President Ulysses S. Grant in the Cox Fine Arts Center. As important historical figures on a national level, Grant and Young have milestone anniversaries in 2022: Grant was born 200 years ago in Point Pleasant, Ohio. Young, who moved to southwest Ohio as a child, died 100 years ago and received his general’s star earlier this year. Painting began July 29, and has occurred daily from approximately 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The murals were designed by graphic artist David Browning of Columbus.

Canine Class:

Receive a top-tier 30-minute demonstration taught by nationally ranked dog trainers. Join us at 1, 3, and 5 p.m. in the Dog House so you can bring these tricks back home to train your own dog!
