With the coming of the New Year there will also be new leadership for the Central Joint Ambulance District board.
The board met for its final meeting of the year Wednesday. CJAD Secretary/Treasurer Milton Underwood will stay at his position; however the president and vice president spots will be different for the next year. Steve Aichholtz was voted as CJAD vice president for 2015. Dale Sipe was elected as CJAD president taking over for former President Ron Miller.
“I have been on many boards and committees with you. You know I am straight forward, if you have any issues come to me,” Sipe said to the CJAD.
Two weeks into taking over as ambulance service provider for the CJAD Jesse Sipe of Life Support gave his first update to the district.
“Life Support has been at it now for two weeks. It is a learning experience and we are familiarizing the roads. We will have a monthly log next January. The 9-1-1 calls have been busy with increased volumes,” Sipe reported.
The CJAD agreed to have the filing cabinet be in possession of the secretary/treasurer.
The next meeting of the CJAD will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 21 at the Plymouth Street station.
