Deborah “Debbie” Altier, 67, of Palm Beach, Florida and Galion native passed away, Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Millcreek Nursing Center in Galion.
She was born April 30, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio and was the daughter of Donatus and Elizabeth (Norman) Weithman.
Debbie graduated from Galion High School in 1972 and moved several years later to Florida. She retired after many years for Office Depot. Debbie enjoyed classic cars and absolutely loved the water and after retiring from Office Depot, she used her love of the water to teach special needs children how to swim.
She is survived by her son, Joseph (Crissy) Altier of Lake Worth, Florida; two grandchildren, Ella and Banner and two brothers, Carl A. (Rebecca) Weithman of Galion and Dr. Don (Kim) Weithman of Naperville, Illinois.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, John Weithman and an infant sister, Mary Weithman.
