BUCYRUS—Chad Myers, 37, formerly of Galion but now residing in Mt. Gilead, was back in Crawford County Common Pleas Court on Tuesday, where his current bond was revoked and then raised.
Myers is charged with 66 counts of pandering sexually-oriented material involving a minor, each a second-degree felony punishable with up to 11 years in prison on each count and 36 counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, each a third-degree felony punishable with up to 36 months in prison on each count.
According to Crawford County Prosecutor Matt Crall, the 19 victims were living in Crawford County. Myers allegedly photographed himself having sex or engaged in some sexual activities with the victims.
Prosecutors returned to court on Tuesday seeking For Myer’s bond to be completely revoked and that he be remanded to the Crawford County Jail pending further action in the ongoing investigation.
Myers has been free on a $750,000 bond. Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold did not order Myers held with no bond but raised his bond to $1,700,000, an increase of $950,000.
Myers was remanded to the custody of the Crawford County Jail. Crawford County Now reached out to Myer’s attorney Ben Kitzler from Mansfield but did not receive a return call.
