Mount Gilead plans Fire Fest April 30

MOUNT GILEAD — The village fire department is planning Fire Fest starting at noon on Saturday, April 30.

Firetruck displays, a cornhole tournament, and food trucks are part of the festivities. Bounce houses and a movie night also are planned as well as A Taste of Morrow County gift basket raffle.

Fire operation demonstrations are planned throughout the day beginning at 1 p.m.

Cornhole tournament will begin at 11 a.m. with registration at 10 a.m. in the double-elimination event. Cash prizes will be awarded. Contact the fire department at 419-946-2551 or the MGFD at 1 Municipal Drive, Mount Gilead, OH 43338.

It is hosted by the Mount Gilead Fireman’s Association and the Mount Gilead Fire Department Auxiliary.
