Rev. Cecil Wendell Frazier, Sr., 89, of Galion passed away on February 4, 2022, at Avita Galion Community Hospital.

Cecil was born on December 3, 1932, in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Alfred and Terrie (Conley) Frazier, Sr.

Rev. Frazier was a man of God, serving as a minister for 64 years, spending 50 years at Miracle Meetings. When he was not Pastoring, Cecil worked until retirement at General Motors. Cecil enjoyed listening to gospel music, sharing God’s word, and helping anyone in need. He also loved spending time tending to his garden and working with his Mules, Kit and Kate. Cecil’s grandchildren were the most important thing to him, he would always talk about them, and cherished their time spent together.

Cecil is survived by son Cecil (Kim) Frazier, Jr. of Iberia; daughters-in-laws; Gloria Frazier and Pam Frazier; brother; James Frazier; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Cecil was preceded in death by his two sons; Larry Frazier and Jerry Frazier; grandson; Shane Frazier and six siblings; William Frazier, Alfred Frazier, Jr., Ernistine Boone, Audrey Step, Gary Frazier, and Fred Frazier.

Friends may call on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 4:00 to 6:00pm at Miracle Meetings Church; 114 W. Walnut St. Galion, Ohio 44833. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 11:00am at the church, with Pastor Danny Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Iberia Cemetery
