Judy A. Owens, 75, of Galion passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at Avita Galion Hospital.
She was born November 28, 1946 in Mansfield and was the daughter of Charles and Pauline Mae (Smith) Nacke. Judy married Stephen J. Owens on March 7, 1967 and he preceded her in death after 36 years on November 17, 2003.
Judy graduated from Ontario High School and worked 17 years as a nurse’s aide at the former Village Care Center in Galion. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Galion. Judy enjoyed crafts, crocheting and sewing.
She is survived by three sons, Stephen M. (Mindy) Owens of Xenia, Ohio, Thomas E. Owens of Galion and Brian W. (Angie) Owens of Fairborn, Ohio; four grandchildren, Justin, Brevin (Jaime Ehrman), Drew and Seth Owens; two great-grandsons, Reed Owens and Jack; numerous brothers and sisters, including Gloria (Lester) Cooper of Vermontville, Michigan and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be held at a later date.
