Voters in Crawford County, like those across the state, were in the frame of mind Tuesday to keep what they had. The General Election was a sweep for Republican office holders at the state level and in Congress.

Jim Jordan will continue to represent Crawford County in Congress as he easily turned back the challenge of Janet Garret in the 4th District. Jeff McClain was re-elected to the 87th District for the Ohio House in defeating Jeffrey Lehart.

Republicans also handily won re-election for Governor by approving John Kasich and Mary Taylor for another term. Also re-elected were David Yost as State Auditor, Jon Husted for Secretary of State, Josh Mandel as State Treasurer and Mike DeWine as Attorney General.
