Christopher Allshouse, 75 of Bucyrus passed away on Friday November 26, 2021 at Bucyrus Community Hospital, his death was unexpected. Christopher was born August 27, 1946 in Johnstown, PA to the late James and Martha (Boring) Allshouse. He was married January 4, 1991 to Carole (Lohr) Allshouse who survives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Herman, Jimmy, and Joe; sisters Shirley Felterman, Peg Orndoff, Betty Lickinfelt, Barb Hughes, and Eleanor Swager.
Christopher is also survived by children Jennifer (Mike) Leonhart, Kevin Allshouse, Elizabeth (Tim) Monk, Alvin (Christa) Mills, Sonya (Bill) Vanderkooi, Dawn Lohr, and Craig Mills all of Bucyrus; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and sisters Dorthy Hopkins of Ohio and Judy Pounds and Pat Lackovich both of PA.
Christopher worked at the Crawford County Court House as a Custodian and worked several years ago running Barges on the Ohio River. Christopher enjoyed collecting antiques and watching Westerns. He loved spending time with family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday December 8, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Rebon officiating, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the time of the service
