Jesse D. Davis, 44 of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Galion Community Hospital following a brief illness. Jesse was born March 20, 1977, in Bucyrus to Rodger Davis and Vicky (Shelton) Van Houten who survive. In addition to his parents, he is survived by fiancé Heather Trummell; children Holden Davis of Columbus, Lady Faye, and X’Ander Davis both of Bucyrus; stepson Jericho Trummell; stepfather Ron Van Houten; brothers Cody Davis and Jeremy (Dawn) McAdams both of Bucyrus; stepbrother Anthony Van Houten; and niece and nephew Sydney and Nathan McAdams.
Jesse last worked at Poly Tech and lived in Bucyrus his entire life, graduating from Bucyrus High School in 1995. Jesse loved guitar, camping, Ekoostik Hookah, and the Grateful Dead.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021, in the Whetstone Baptist Church at 6:00 pm with Pastor Larry Oxendine officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 5:00 pm until the time of the service. Memorial contributions can be made through the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home.
