Faye Borders, 77 of Mansfield went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus following a 3-week illness. Faye was born November 24, 1943, in Mechanicsburg, OH to the late Bennie Franklin Farrow and Linnie (Crace) Farrow. She was married June 25, 1961, to Larry Borders who survives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Faye is also survived by daughters Carla (Wes) Rice of Bowling Green, KY and Melanie (Gary) Campbell of Mansfield; grandchildren Anthony (Stephanie) Rice, Corey and Cody Campbell, Mitchell Miller, Mariah (Johnathon) Miller, Larry, and Eryn Campbell; and great-grandchildren Hayden, Caleb, Breyonia, Ryleigh, and Liam; as well as several special nieces and nephews.
Faye graduated from Holmes Liberty High School in 1961. She was a homemaker and retired several years ago from K-Mart. Faye lived in Crestline and Mansfield most of her life. She enjoyed bowling in League up until last year and was involved in the church her entire life where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. Faye was a cook and was known for her pies. Most of all Faye loved her family.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
