BUCYRUS—Effective 10-31-2021, First Federal Community Bank of Bucyrus (FFCB), a community bank based in Bucyrus, has acquired Lighthouse Mortgage Services/Lighthouse Commercial Mortgage, a commercial and residential mortgage brokerage firm in Columbus, Ohio.
FFCB President and CEO, Brad Murtiff, stated that this acquisition has been in the works for nearly a year, and will provide a strategic entry into the Commercial Secondary Market. “We have known Vernon Morrison, Lighthouse President and CEO, for quite a while, and are very familiar with his highly successful commercial and residential mortgage origination business.
