Sheryl L. Gohl age 78 of Upper Sandusky died Sat. Oct. 23, 2021, at Westbrook Assisted Living & Memory Care.  She was born Dec. 22, 1942, in Tiffin to the late John & Thelma (Case) Eyestone.

She married Leroy Gohl on Feb. 25, 1964, and he survives in Upper Sandusky.  Mrs. Gohl is also survived by a daughter Stacey Gohl and her husband Dave Smith and their son Alex Smith.  She was lovingly known for 30 plus years as Mom 2 to Nathan Wymer and his wife Beth, and Grandma Louis to their son Zachary.  She has a brother Czerny Eyestone of Upper Sandusky.

She attended Union Methodist Church and later Trinity UMC where she played the piano & organ for services and was the Jr. Choir Director. Mrs. Gohl attended OSU.  She was employed with the Wyandot County Recorder Office, Dr. Rutan, SOS Driving School, co-owner and bookkeeper for Gohl Farms and Leroy Gohl Trucking, and was a housekeeper and mom.  She loved to ride motorcycles with her husband and enjoyed their many trips to the Smokey Mountains of TN and NC.  Mrs. Gohl was an avid NASCAR, OSU Buckeye football and basketball fan.  She enjoyed playing the piano and giving music lessons.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM Wed. Oct. 27, 2021, in Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Livingston, officiating.  Interment will follow in Old Mission Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Tue. Oct. 26, 2021, and from 9:30 AM until the time of the funeral service on Wed.
