John A. Pope age 49 of Dunkirk, died at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay on Aug. 28, 2021. He was born Jan. 8, 1972, in Kenton to Vernon D. and Shirley K. (Jolliff) Pope. John is survived by daughters Madison Pope and Kelsey (Brandon) Cole, a granddaughter Lucy Pope, all of Findlay, a sister Lisa (Brian) Connolly, Kenton, and fiancee Tina Perry, Dunkirk.
John was a 1990 graduate of Riverdale High School. He had worked as a laborer at Bridgestone for 21 years. John was a member of Mt. Blanchard Gun Club, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and trap shooting.
A public graveside service will be held on Sept. 7, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at the Williamstown Cemetery with Pastor Joe Searfoss officiating. A celebration of life will be held at noon at The Blue Room, Kirby.
