Glenna G. Rowland, 78, of Galion went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Mill Creek Nursing Center.

Born February 13, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Paul E. and Deloris (Ross) King. She married Delwyn E. Rowland on June 10, 1983, in Chesterville and he survives.

She was a member of the Diamond Hill Cathedral in Mansfield and was a mother to everyone.  She was a former Girl Scout Leader and enjoyed crafts, gardening, bird watching, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband she is survived by, children, Glenna “Charlene” Holley of Mansfield, Sheila (Chris) Glover of Lucas, Glenne (Wendy) Holley of Salina, Kansas, Beth (Alan) Seachrist of Macedonia, Ginny (John) Yost of Mansfield, Jeff Rowland of Texas, Ted (Sheila) Rowland of Texas,  Shawn (Cheryl) Rowland of Indiana, and Jeremy Rowland of Indiana; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Paulette (Mike) Svodova of Streetsboro, Deloris Vannoy of Georgia, Paula King of Middletown and Janie King of Mansfield; numerous nieces and nephews and her dog Chichi and her cockatiel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Mills; sister Cheryl Johnson and stepfather, Vernon Smalley.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 16, 2021, at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Private graveside services will be held at Fairview Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Diamond Hill Cathedral in care of the funeral home.
