Rob Grant, 47 of Galion passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born June 10, 1974, in Mansfield, he was the son of the late Robert Allen Grant and Shawnee (Smith) Grant of Galion.
He was a 1992 graduate of Galion High School. Rob had lots of friends which he always had room if they needed a place to stay. He was an avid Beatles fan. Rob enjoyed driving and listening to loud music, fishing, camping, cooking Thanksgiving dinner for everyone, especially his great sausage gravy, and spending time with his grandkids.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancée Ranee Dyer, with whom he made his home with; two daughters, Chelsee (Clayton Webb) Grant of Caledonia and Jada (Hunter) Grant of Massachusetts; five grandchildren, Carter Fry, Carlee Webb, Calli Webb, Lilly & Scarlet Stinehelfer; brother, Scott (Pam) Grant of Leesville; sister, Barbara (Nick Bell) Hunt of Marion; best friend since high school, Anna Grant and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Hope Carmichael.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833.
