Sharon Lynn Rowalt, 76 of Galion, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Galion Pointe Nursing Home.
Sharon was born on January 27, 1945, in Gallipolis to the late Everett and Carmen (Jackson) McManaway. On June 19, 1980, she married Charles F. Rowalt and he preceded her in death on July 16, 2014.
Sharon was an animal lover and enjoyed giving back through the Crawford County Humane Society. She worked many years as a nurse’s aide at several nursing homes in the area. Sharon and her husband Charles also managed Spring Valley Court for many years. Sharon loved spending time with her family and cherished the moments spent with her kids, and grandkids.
Sharon is survived by her children; Pamela Gifford of Bucyrus, Jerry (Lisa) Gifford of Bucyrus, Brian (Lisa) Gifford of Northwood, and Charles (Kimberly Johnson) Rowalt of Galion; stepchildren; Greg Rowalt of Galion, Doug Rowalt of Galion, Steven Rowalt of Galion, and Sheila Rowalt of Bucyrus; brother; Everett McManaway of Bucyrus, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
