7:44 a.m.-A private property accident report was taken in the 100 block of Hill Street.

7:45 a.m.-Officers attempted to assist a person in locating his dog.

8:04 a.m.-A Mary Street business owner reported people dumping on his property.

8:14 a.m.-Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 600 block of Link Drive.

8:48 a.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 800 block of East Rensselaer Street.

9:25 a.m.-Todd Kinn, 49, was arrested in the 1100 block of Reid Street on a Crawford County warrant.  He was released pending a court appearance.

10:26 a.m.-A report of a reckless driver in the 1800 block of West Mansfield Street was investigated.

11:31 a.m.-Officers checked East Southern Avenue regarding a report of a railroad car that had derailed.

11:35 a.m.-A report of a trespasser in the 1100 block of Fremont Street was investigated.

12:20 p.m.-A disturbance in the 100 block of South Spring Street was investigated.

12:29 p.m.-A report of a parking complaint in the 1000 block of S Sandusky Ave was unfounded.

12:23 p.m.-Officers made a standby in the 1200 block of High Street.

2:15 p.m.-Officers assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol in the 1200 block of Monnett Street.

2:31 p.m.-Melvin Swerlein, 63, was arrested for domestic violence in the 900 block of East Warren Street. He is being held pending a court appearance.

3:23 p.m.-Officers checked the Marion Road and South Poplar Street area following a report of a motor vehicle crash.

3:42 p.m.-A two-vehicle, non-injury accident was investigated in the East Mansfield and Lane Street area.

4:07 p.m.-Jason Surgener, 49, was arrested on warrants out of Crawford County. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held pending a court appearance.

6:07 p.m.-Bucyrus Police Department was requested to assist in the search for a missing person in the county.

6:20 p.m.-Officers assisted Portsmouth EMS in the 700 block of Wilbur Street.

1:06 a.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 600 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

1:14 a.m.-Officers investigated a suspicious person in the area of East Warren and East Streets.

1:30 a.m.-Officers investigated a suspicious person in the area of Prospect and East Lucas Streets.

2:10 a.m.-Officers investigated a domestic situation in the 400 block of Heritage Circle Drive.

2:38 a.m.-A motorist was given a citation for driving under suspension in the area of Tiffin Street and Schaber Avenue.

3:56 a.m.-Officers investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of North Lane Street.

10:31 a.m.-Officers responded to the High Street area regarding a two-vehicle accident. There was no damage to the vehicles.

10:43 a.m.-A report of a disturbance in the 400 block of Myers Street was investigated.

10:49 a.m.-Officers made a welfare check in the 300 block of Failor Avenue.

12:56 p.m.-Officers spoke to the owner of a vehicle with two dogs inside in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street.

2:50 p.m.-A welfare check was requested in the 300 block of East Rensselaer Street.

3:33 p.m.-Officers assisted a person in the 900 block of Rogers Street experiencing mental issues.

3:56 p.m.-Officers assisted with a golf cart inspection in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

5:44 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of an intoxicated male on a bicycle in the Jones and East Warren Street area.

6:44 p.m.-Officers checked the 400 block of East Rensselaer Street following a report of a suspicious vehicle.

7:20 p.m.-A report of a couple arguing was investigated in the 100 block of South Sandusky Avenue. They had left the area prior to the officer’s arrival.

7:46 p.m.-Officers searched the 1700 block of Marion Road for an alarm. Someone had disposed of a fire alarm in a trash bin.

8:00 p.m.-Officers were requested to assist Portsmouth EMS in the 1200 block of East Warren Street.

9:12 p.m.-Officers responded to a report of a disorderly person in the 200 block of Crossroads Boulevard.

12:12 a.m.-Derek Riels, 34, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.

8:34 a.m.-Officers checked the Outreach Center, 133 N. Sandusky Ave., after employees reported someone being inside. No one was found and it appears to may have been an animal.

10:58 a.m.-Officers spoke to a man at the station about a family issue.

12:26 p.m.-Officers spoke to a concerned citizen in the Arch Drive area.

1:04 p.m.-Officers investigated a two-vehicle, non-injury accident on North Sandusky at US 30. One driver was issued a citation.

2:20 p.m.-Officers checked a parking complaint in the 100 block of Allen Avenue.

2:31 p.m.-Officers spoke to two drivers on Beal Avenue at Isaac Beal Road after an incident of road rage.

4:03 p.m.-Officers investigated a 911 hang-up in the 1600 block of Marion Road.

4:09 p.m.-Officers assisted the Bucyrus Fire Department in the 900 block of East Rensselaer Street with an attic fire. No serious injuries were reported.

4:32 p.m.-Officers spoke to a resident at the station about a previous case.

5:05 p.m.-Officers conducted a welfare check in the 400 block of East Mansfield Street.

6:54 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 1700 block of Marion Road.

7:34 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 400 block of West Mansfield Street.

8:15 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 200 block of East Mary Street.

9:15 p.m.-Officers took a report of a disturbance in the 400 block of East Rensselaer Street.

9:36  p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 300 block of West Mansfield Street.

10:55 p.m.-A report of vandalism was taken in the 200 block of Norton Way.

11:20 p.m.-A burglary was reported in the 800 block of Earl Street.

2:59 a.m.-Officers took a report of an assault that occurred in the 500 block of Woodlawn Avenue.
