Janette Evon Fleming, 46, of Bucyrus went to be with the Lord on June 15, 2021, after a courageous, six-year battle with cancer. She was born on March 17, 1975, in Marion, Ohio, where she lived most of her life.

Friends and family enjoyed her fun-loving personality and quick wit, as well as her helpful, caring, and hardworking nature. Janette’s first job was at Lawrence Orchards in Marion and later at IB Tech and Eco Trend Thrift Store in Bucyrus.

She loved the outdoors and taking long walks. She also enjoyed roaming through flea markets, going to water parks, and reading. She was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Indians.

Family was important to Janette. She looked forward to get-togethers, especially when her brother, Tobi, visited from Arizona, and dining with her father’s family, Marilyn Mead, Diane (Tim) Schroll, and Victoria Shawk.

Janette is survived by her parents, Teea and Dan Linn; sons, Dalton (Celeste) Davis and Daniel Linn; her brother, Tobi (Isabel) Fleming; nieces, Michelle and Heather Fleming; grandchildren, Ariel and Zander Davis; and Shawn Bachtell, her best friend, caregiver, and love of her life.

She is also survived by grandmothers, Rita Boyhan and Jo Linn; uncles, Tom Boyhan and John (Diana) Boyhan; and aunties, Kathy Laughbaum and Becky Dutton. Janette had many cousins too numerous to name.

She was preceded in death by grandfathers, Jack Boyhan, G.E. Linn, and Millard Mead; uncles, Rob Boyhan and Dale Shawk; and cousin, Patrick Boyhan.

Family and friends will celebrate her life on SATURDAY, JULY 10 at 12 Noon at New City Fellowship, 675 Uncapher Ave., Marion, Ohio with Pastor Josh Hause officiating.
