The entire community is invited to the third annual Neighborhood Churches’ Block Party from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 5 on Woodlawn Ave. between Walnut and Lane streets.
Young and young-at-heart can enjoy free food, beverages, games and prizes, balloons, a cake walk and a chance to get to know people from our community. There is also face painting by members of the Crawford County Art Council and music by Sonix Soundz DJ Service.
Parking is available at the Bucyrus UMC Outreach Center at 216 Hopley Ave. and at First Baptist Church beside the elementary school.
The block party is part of National Night OutTM, a police-community partnership intended to send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back against crime and drug abuse.
Your Bucyrus Neighborhood Churches sponsoring the party include: Bucyrus UMC, Church of God of Prophesy, Father’s Heart Healing Center, First Baptist Church, New Day Ministries and St. Paul Lutheran Church.
For more information, call the Outreach Center office at 419-562-5061.
