Pearl Graf was the definition of a lady and Christian woman. Pearl M. Graf, 91, of Galion passed into her Lord’s presence on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, surrounded by her family.
She was born June 7, 1929, in Martel, Ohio, and was the daughter of LeRoy and Edna (Quesenberry) Loyer. Pearl married Kenneth J. Graf, who was raised by Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Worden, on July 17, 1948, and they enjoyed 52 years of marriage until his passing on July 6, 2000.
Pearl graduated from Martel High School in 1947. She was a long-time and active church member of Grace Point in Galion, being a member of the Church Missionary Society. Pearl was also a member of the Current News Club and a former volunteer at Kingwood Center and taught for the Religious Education Program at Galion Schools. She was known for always sending cards to people for birthdays and other occasions and was a life-long friend and servant to others.
Pearl is survived by a daughter, Susan (Jerry) Seiter of Ashland; sons Kirk (Mavi) Graf of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and John (Dianne) Graf of Grand Rapids, Michigan; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a brother Clark “Gale” Loyer of Galion.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter Kathy Lynn Graf; a grandson, Benjamin Lee Seiter; sisters Betty Stockwell and Kathleen Sharrock and a brother, Kensil Loyer.
There will be a private service at Grace Point in Galion, Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Galion. A Public Celebration of Life will be held in the summer.
