Virginia (Magers) Schultz, 96 of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Maplecrest Assisted Living. Virginia was born in Seneca County to Myrtle (Reichard) Magers and Earl R. Magers on August 12, 1924. She graduated from Bucyrus High School with the class of 1942. Attended Business School in Columbus and then worked at Wright Patterson AFB Dayton, Ohio.
On February 20, 1944, she married George J. Schultz at the Sedalia AFB, Sedalia, Mo. who is deceased. A son, Michael Schultz is also deceased. She is survived by a daughter Marna Remkus of the Dallas area. Also survived by granddaughter Amy Peters also of the Dallas area. Several nieces and nephews. Also preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Magers.
She was a confirmed member of Good Hope Lutheran Church. A member of the American Legion, Moose, friends of the Library, past member of the Hospital Auxiliary, and past member of the Monnett Study Club.
A memorial will be held at a later date with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
