God welcomed an angel, Susanne L. (Shade) Kiser, former Galion resident into heaven on Friday, January 22, 2021, in Zolfo Springs, Florida at the age of 83 after a very short illness with cancer. She was born June 14th, 1937 in Galion, Ohio to Kenneth and Louise (Kinney) Roston who both preceded her in death.
She graduated from Galion High School in 1955 and on January 28, 1956, married Paul L. Shade who preceded her in death (October 4, 1998). Together they had two children. She worked several jobs while living in Ohio, North Electric as an assembler, Dean’s, and the most enjoyable being babysitting for many years. When Paul retired they moved to Venice Florida. On February 22, 2016, she married Harry Kiser in Zolfo Springs, Florida.
She is survived by her husband Harry Kiser; children Athena M. (Jessie) Cox of Florence, Texas and Kenneth J. (Mary) Shade of Zolfo Springs, Florida; a brother Rev. Harley (Yolande) Roston of Piketon, Ohio; 4 grandchildren, Amber (Jason) Smith of Plymouth, Ohio, Elizabeth (Josh) Moore of Shelby, Ohio, Sheila Beam of Liebenthal, Kansas and Curtis Cox of Englewood, Colorado, Michelle (Shawn) Vladiff and Matthew (Sarah) Montgomery and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and first husband, Susanne was preceded in death by 2 infant sisters.

A graveside service and burial will be held on June 14, 2021, at Iberia Cemetery.
