Warren Dale “Zeke” Zimmerman age 81 of Forest, died at his residence Tue. Jan. 19, 2021. He was born on Dec. 25, 1939, to the late Don and Jennie (Clinger) Zimmerman.
He married Billie Jo Slone on Apr. 3, 1965, and she survives in Forest. Also surviving is a son Don Zimmerman, Forest, daughters Julie (Gale Musselman) Zimmerman, MI, Cathy (Todd) Jones, Findlay, grandchildren Derek Zimmerman, Morgan, and Nathan Fissell, step-grandchildren Logan and Conner, a step great-granddaughter Reese and a sister Janice (Richard) Cotten, Findlay. He is preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law Joyce and Wes Thomas.
He was a 1957 graduate of Forest High School. Mr. Zimmerman attended Wharton Church of God. He retired in 2003 after 46 years at UAP, Forest as a welder and maintenance worker. Mr. Zimmerman enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, and camping at Indian Lake. In his younger years, he broke riding horses. Mr. Zimmerman served in the Ohio National Guard.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Fri. Jan. 22, 2021, in the Clark Shields Funeral Home with Pastor David Odegard officiating. Interment will follow in Hueston Cemetery, Forest.
