ARCHBOLD — Bucyrus wrestling went on the road Wednesday to participate in the 12-team Archbold Duals.
The Redmen wrestled five matches on the day, finishing with a tournament team record of 2-3, good for eighth place.
Bucyrus defeated Sandusky St. Mary, 42-36, and Delphos St. John, 27-16. The Redmen dropped matches to Allen East (57-6), Sherwood Fairview (64-12) and Ayersville (57-18).
Kiyran Kerschner went 4-1 in five matches with one fall. Bryant Pfeifer also went 4-1 with two falls.
Nate Zehring finished 2-0 (one fall), Trey Griggs was 3-2, Andy Case was 1-1, and Kael Scott was 2-3 with two falls.
Other wrestlers were Logan Evans (1-3), Sawyer Cooper (1-4), Alvin Hurley (0-3) and Tanner Alsept (0-4).
The Redmen ran their season duals record to 4-4.
