Cheryl Ann Parsons, 56, of Crestline passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus after complications from a recent stroke.

 

Born August 19, 1964 in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late James and Patricia (Lawler) Glennon.  She married Steven M. Parsons and he survives.

 

She was a graduate of Timken Senior High in 1982 and served in the United States Army for 16 years and worked as a server and cook at the Hunger Paynes Restaurant in Crestline for many years. Cheryl was known as a genuine and caring person, who enjoyed helping others.  Her grandchildren were the most important thing in her life.

 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Tricia (Leo) Triplett of Galion and Chris (Liz) Glennon 0f Lexington; grandchildren, Marcus, Ayona, Cian, Cameron, Mia, Devin and Cassidee; sister, Lisa Dieringer of Brewster; brothers, Edward Glennon of Magnolia, Mark Glennon of Florida and Jay Glennon of Canton; and special friend, as close as a sister, Kat Phillips of Crestline and the work crew at Hunger Paynes.

 

The family will have a memorial gathering Saturday, October 24, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Hunger Paynes Restaurant, 819 East Main Street, Crestline, Ohio 44827
