GALION—A report of a stabbing from Franklin County at a Galion address led to the arrest of two people Monday afternoon.

Galion Police were called to the 200 block of Eighth Avenue by Franklin County authorities who said a knife was pulled during an argument between family members. EMS personnel also responded to the scene.

Vincent Moreth and Anthony Moreth were arrested on charges of domestic violence and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.

1:13 a.m.-A report of two girls throwing rocks in the Heise Park area was investigated. Officers were unable to locate the juveniles.

6:56 a.m.-A report of a person stuck in the elevator at Galion Middle School was investigated.

7:17 a.m.-A report of a rape was taken and is under investigation.

8:37 a.m.-A Second Avenue resident reported someone broke a light that is on their front porch.

9:58 a.m.-A parking complaint was investigated in the 400 block of Third Avenue.

10:18 a.m.-A report of a theft from a business in the 100 block of Harding Way East was investigated.

10:53 a.m.- A parking complaint was investigated in the 500 block of North Union Street.

11:14 a.m.-A disturbance was investigated in the 600 block of Grove Avenue.

2:51 p.m.-A report of a reckless driver was investigated in the Harding Way West area. The driver was warned for their manner of driving.

4:06 p.m.-A South Market Street resident reported being attacked by a neighbor’s dog. The Crawford County Dog Warden assisted at the scene and the dogs were quarantined.

5:24 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 200 block of East Atwood Street.

8:01 p.m.-A report of fraud was investigated in the 600 block of South Market Street.

8:34 p.m.-A report of a drunk driver was investigated in the 600 block of Harding Way East. Ethan Somerlot was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence.

8:45 p.m.-A report of a suspicious person in the 300 block of Harding Way East was investigated.

11:13 p.m.-A standby was conducted in the 600 block of South Market Street.
