Fireworks will be lighting up the skies tonight as towns prepare to celebrate Independence Day.
Locally, Bucyrus, Crestline, and Upper Sandusky will be holding their fireworks show tonight. The Bucyrus show will be at the Crawford County Fairgrounds, the Crestline display will be at Hudson Stadium, and Upper Sandusky will hold its show behind the high school. Though no rain is forecasted for this evening, in case of inclement weather, Bucyrus and Crestline have set aside July 5 as a rain date.
Red, White and Boom will also be tonight in downtown Columbus.
Marion, Mt. Gilead, and Ontario fireworks shows will be tomorrow night at the Marion County Fairgrounds, the Morrow County Fairgrounds, and Ontario Middle School, respectively.
On July 5 Galion will hold its show at Heize Park while Mansfield will have its display at Charles Mill Lake Park.
Shelby will round out the annual Independence Day fireworks shows on July 12 at Skiles Field. All shows will start at dusk.
