The Buckeye Central Board of Education held a meeting on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 7:00pm at Buckeye Central Local School in the Multi-Purpose Room.
Treasurer’s Report:
The treasurer’s report was presented and financial reports were approved. We have been very fortunate this year seeing higher than expected revenue, while seeing expenditures stay well within budget. As the reports reflect the financial activity for the month of May was very close to the projection. With one month (June) remaining in the fiscal year we see the numbers falling very close to the updated forecast presented a few months ago.
We are also nearing the end of our OSFC (K-12 Building) Project. Closeout paper work has been done with the state and the remaining dollars will be distributed as per the closeout calculations. There are some unused dollars from the project that will go into the debt retirement account along with interest that was generated during the project that will be used for permanent improvements. More details and information will follow.
