CRESTLINE—The Crestline Exempted School District Board of Education met for a very short special meeting to handle a bus route issue and several personnel matters on Thursday evening.
According to maintenance supervisor James Holliday, the schedule of transporting Crestline students to three locations in Mansfield is impractical for this school year as it conflicts with the time of transporting students within the Crestline area.
“There is a program available to offer payment in lieu of transportation for these students,” said Holliday.
Those routes affected are from Crestline to the Richland Academy of Academic Arts, Discovery School and Imperial Autism Connections, all located in Mansfield. The board approved the resolution to halt these routes.
The board also approved the resignation of food service employee Patti Huber and the job transfer of Renita Holt to food service.
Other personnel matters approved on the evening’s agenda include:
The job transfers of Michele Lester for food service, Tyler Albright as an aide and Sara Wise as an ISS monitor and aide.
The board approved the hiring of Katelyn Davey as an aide, Mitchell Sellers as the Fall Athletic Site Manager and Nick Briggs as a seventh-grade football coach.
