BUCYRUS—Bucyrus Police officers investigated a crash involving three vehicles at the intersection of North Sandusky Avenue and Mary Street. One vehicle landed on its side due to the impact of the crash that occurred shortly before 11 a.m. on Thursday.

According to Lt. Tom Walker of the Bucyrus Police Department, Theresa Noggle, 61, Bucyrus, was heading eastbound on West Mary Street when she ran the red light at North Sandusky Avenue. Her green Ford Explorer was struck in the passenger side by a Chevy Silverado that was traveling northbound on North Sandusky Avenue. Noggle’s vehicle landed on its side then slid into a blue Ford F-250 that was stopped for the redlight heading westbound on East Mary Street.

Walker said Noggle suffered a minor injury to her arm but was not taken by squad for treatment. She was issued a citation for a traffic light violation. No other injuries were reported.

Bucyrus Firefighters assisted at the scene along with Portsmouth Ambulance personnel.
