BUCYRUS—A Bucyrus man was arrested on a Crawford County warrant Saturday afternoon.

At 4:38 p.m. Bucyrus Police arrested Carl Vanbuskirk, 39, in the 1000 block of Tiffin Street on the warrant. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

7:46 a.m.-Officers checked the 400 block of North Walnut Street after receiving an open 911 call. A four-year-old was playing with a cell phone.

10:10 a.m.-Officers picked up what appeared to be drug paraphernalia in the 900 block of South Sandusky Avenue and disposed of it.

1:03 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a breaking and entering of a storage unit on Whetstone Street.

1:38 p.m.-A report of a trespasser in the 400 block of North Sandusky Avenue was investigated. The person left before officers arrived.

2:15 p.m.-Officers spoke with a resident at the station regarding identity theft.

2:26 p.m.-A disturbance in the 200 block of North Sandusky Avenue was investigated.

2:34 p.m.-Officers attempted a welfare check in the 500 block of South East Street.

3:50 p.m.-Officers responded to a report of a dog in a car in the 100 block of North Walnut Street. The vehicle was gone upon officers’ arrival.

4:19 p.m.-A traffic citation was issued in the area of East Mansfield Street.

5:06 p.m.-Officers took a report of larceny at the station.

5:15 p.m.-Officers took a report of telecommunication harassment at the station.

5:20 p.m.-Marie Heise, 20, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County. She was given a court date.

6:18 p.m.-Officers assisted the Marion County Sherriff’s Office in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.

6:46 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 600 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

8:22 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 1000 block of Ohio Drive.

9:10 p.m.-Officers investigated an alarm drop in the 100 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

9:15 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a disturbance in the 400 block of East Rensselaer Street.

1:40 a.m.-Officers assisted Crawford County Sheriff’s deputies in the North Sandusky Avenue and Irving Street area.

2:18 a.m.-Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Deputies in the North Sandusky Avenue and Plymouth Street area.

6:12 a.m.-Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 1300 block of South Walnut Street.

7:01 a.m.-Officers assisted the Shelby Police Department in the 100 block of Fisher Street.

8:25 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street.

10:07 a.m.-A person came to the station to claim a bike that had been recovered.

3:29 p.m.- A disturbance was reported in the 500 block of South Walnut Street.

4:31 p.m.- Officers assisted Portsmouth Ambulance Service at Aumiller Park.

4:48 p.m.- A suspicious person was reported in the area of Aumiller Park.

4:50 p.m.- Officers investigated several 911 hang-up calls in the 200 block of West Charles Street. It was found to be a child playing with a phone.

5:43 p.m.- A suspicious vehicle was reported in the area of Aumiller Park.

6:25 p.m.- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on South Sandusky Avenue.

6:40 p.m.- A disturbance was investigated in the 100 block of Washington Square.

7:43 p.m.- A welfare check was requested on North Poplar Street.

8:16 p.m.- Officers assisted the Crawford County Dog warden in the 700 block of Wilbur Street.

8:29 p.m.- A theft report was taken in the 1600 block of Marion Road.

9:08 p.m.- A disturbance was reported in the 500 block of South Walnut Street.

9:33 p.m.- Officers spoke to a person in the 800 block of East Rensselaer Street about a civil matter.

10:25 p.m.-A report of fireworks in the area of Waterford Glen was investigated.

10:39 p.m.-A disturbance in the 500 block of South Walnut Street was investigated.

11:20 p.m.-A wallet found at the Crazy Fox was turned over to an officer for safekeeping at the police department.

11:28 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of South Spring Street was investigated.

1:26 a.m.-A report of juveniles out past curfew in the 500 block of Woodlawn Avenue was investigated.

2:06 a.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1000 block of Tiffin Street was investigated.

2:36 a.m.-A disturbance in the 700 block of South Poplar Street was investigated.

4:40 a.m.-Multiple parking tickets were issued in the area of South Poplar and South Spring Streets.

10:54 a.m.-An E Rensselaer St resident reported receiving a scam.

11:08 a.m.-A report of a truck leaking fluid on Marion Road was investigated. The truck was not located and no fluid trail was found.

12:17 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street.

12:43 p.m.-A Colonial Drive resident reported a theft from her home.

1:17 p.m.-A domestic dispute in the 200 block of Nauman Avenue was investigated.

2:02 p.m.-A parking complaint in the 600 block of North Lane Street was investigated.

2:10 p.m.-A report of trespassers on city property turned out to be people fishing legally.

4:27 p.m.- A disturbance was reported in the 200 block of Nauman Avenue.

7:03 p.m.- A traffic complaint was made in the 200 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

7:24 p.m.- A neighborhood dispute was mediated in the 300 block of South Spring Street.

9:14 p.m.- A report of a vehicle hitting a dumpster and leaving the area was made at Pinewood Court.

9:25 p.m.- Officers assisted in removing a bat from a residence in the 400 block of Gay Street.

9:40 p.m.- Officers assisted a Crawford County Sheriff’s deputy in the 400 block of East Charles Street.

9:54 p.m.- A report of a stolen vehicle was made at the police department.

10:04 p.m.- A report of loud music was investigated in the 1300 block of Monnett Street.

10:23 p.m.-A report of a suspicious, stumbling male in the 600 block of Sitler Avenue was received.  Officers were unable to locate anyone matching his description when checking the area.

11:37 p.m.-A loud music complaint was investigated in the 1300 block of Monnett Street.
