GALION—A man was arrested early Saturday morning after hitting a parked vehicle then fleeing the scene.

Galion Police were called to investigate the hit-skip accident at 12:31 a.m. in the South Union Street area.

Charles D. Stevens, 27, Galion, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident and an outstanding warrant during a traffic stop on Grove Avenue following the incident. Drug paraphernalia was found in the vehicle he was driving.

2:57 a.m.-A report of a runaway juvenile was investigated in the 800 block of Charles Street.

6:02 p.m.-A report of children not in car seats in a vehicle in the Speedway area was investigated.

6:03 p.m.-Joesiah M. Grimes was issued a citation for no motorcycle endorsement, failure to display plate and fictitious registration in the 700 block of Edwards Street.

6:09 p.m.-A disturbance in the 200 block of Gill Avenue was investigated.

6:31 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted at the Rainbow Motel.

7:14 p.m.-A report of juveniles throwing egg cartons all over at Heise Park was investigated. The egg cartons were cleaned up when officers arrived and the kids could not be located.

8:58 p.m.-A report that someone fell on new equipment and broke it at Heise Park.

11:04 p.m.-A report of two people arguing in the Dawsett Avenue area was investigated and drug paraphernalia was seized.

11:41 p.m.-A report that a woman broke a television and put a hole in the wall in the common area at the Rainbow Motel was investigated.

4:56 p.m.-A South Market Street reported juveniles throwing bags of trash in their yard. The parents said they will take care of it.

6:56 p.m.-A report of juveniles fighting at Heise Park was investigated. They advised they were play fighting and no one was injured.

8:21 p.m.-A report of a fight between two women at Heise Park was investigated.

9:28 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile was investigated in the 500 block of Fifth Avenue.

9:40 p.m.-A report of a fight in the Orange Street area was investigated.

10:47 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 300 block of North Columbus Street.

11:20 p.m.-David B. Hill, 26, Columbus, was arrested on a Columbus Police Department warrant at Cedargate Apartments.

12:55 a.m.-A report of gunshots and a fight taking place in the 300 block of South Market Street was investigated. The shots were actually firecrackers and one of the people involved in the fight left the area.

10:26 a.m.-A standby was conducted in the 100 block of Sixth Avenue.

4:07 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 600 block of North Market Street and one person was issued a warning for disorderly conduct.

4:44 p.m.-Robert J. Clum, 66, Galion, was arrested on a Morrow County warrant near Circle K.

7:24 p.m.-A person reported being threatened by someone they know in the 500 block of Harding Way West.

7:32 p.m.-A person reported being hit in the leg by a vehicle in the 100 block of East Street.

10:31 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 400 block of Libby Lane.

12:41 a.m.-A report of juveniles knocking over barrels in the 700 block of Harding Way West was investigated. The juveniles were warned for curfew violations and advised to head home for the night.

10:02 a.m.-A woman reported a family member’s ashes, an urn and photo albums stolen from her room at the Rainbow Motel. Her property was returned and the involved party was warned for trespassing at the motel.

11:17 a.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 500 block of Third Avenue.

2:24 p.m.-A North Market Street resident reported their air conditioner vandalized.

3:50 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 400 block of Libby Lane.

4:20 p.m.-A South Boston Street resident reported receiving threatening phone calls.

8:03 p.m.-A North Market Street resident reported juveniles knocking on doors then running down the street. Officers were unable to locate the juveniles.

8:17 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile was investigated in the 600 block of Brookside Avenue.

8:22 p.m.-A disturbance was investigated in the 700 block of Clay Street and one person was issued a warning for disorderly conduct.

11:47 a.m.-A report of a lost cell phone in the Cedargate Apartments area was taken.

2:30 p.m.-A Charles Street resident reported their fence damaged by their neighbor. The neighbor advised he will fix the fence and he was issued a warning for dogs running at-large.

5:23 p.m.-A report of juveniles on the roof of the old bathrooms at Heise Park was investigated. They were advised to stay off the roof.

5:35 p.m.-A South Pierce Street resident was warned against shooting a bow and arrow in the city limits.

6 p.m.-Morgan Minamyer was arrested on an Upper Sandusky Police Department warrant in the Gill Avenue area.
