Crawford County Commissioners received two bids for an upcoming pavement resurfacing project.
Commissioner Doug Weisenauer was on hand to review the bids that were opened for contract number C06. The engineer’s estimate for the project came in at $420,168.83. The project completion date was set for Sept. 19.
Bucyrus Road Materials submitted a low bid of $424,664.99. Kokosing Construction Company of Mansfield entered a bid of $461,505.76 for the project.
Weisenauer said they will review the bids before submitting a resolution for the project.
The resurfacing projects would affect the following roads:
• Kersetter Rd./W. Southern Ave. beginning at the intersection of River Rd. and ending at the intersection of Wyandot Rd.
• Tiffin Rd. from Bucyrus city limits north to Quaker Rd.
• Lemert Rd. from Marion-Melmore Rd east to Holmes Center Rd.
