GALION—A Galion man was arrested early Monday morning after officers were called twice to the Rainbow Motel.
At 5:52 a.m., officers investigated a report of a man outside yelling at the Rainbow Motel. The man was issued a warning for disorderly conduct and advised to go into his room.
At 6:25 a.m., a person at the motel reported being threatened by another guest at the motel. Melchiades R. Helton was arrested for disorderly conduct.

9:43 a.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 700 block of Briarwood Drive and everything was fine.
11:29 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 900 block of Wagner Avenue.
12:20 p.m.-A parking issue was investigated in the 300 block of Eighth Avenue.
1:03 p.m.-A possible shoplifting was investigated at the Duke and Duchess station.
2:41 p.m.-A dispute over a car door bumping another car’s door was investigated in the 700 block of Carter Drive.
3:23 p.m.-A report of child abuse was taken and is under investigation.
3:27 p.m.-A dispute was investigated in the 500 block of Galion Arms Court.
3:41 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the Cedargate Apartments area. Both parties involved were issued warnings for disorderly conduct.
6:39 p.m.-A report of stalking was investigated in the 200 block of Portland Way North. A man was issued a warning to stay away from the woman involved.
6:49 p.m.-A report of an assault was investigated in the 700 block of Maple Heights.
7:40 p.m.-A man in the 400 block of Harding Way East was issued a warning for allowing his dogs to run at large.
10:03 p.m.-A report of fireworks in the 800 block of Harding Way East was investigated
