GALION—A Galion man was arrested for domestic violence on Saturday evening.
At 8:23 p.m., Galion Police were called to a domestic dispute in the 200 block of East Church Street.
Robert N. Sams, 57, Galion, was arrested for physical domestic violence and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

1:19 p.m.-A parking complaint was investigated in the 300 block of Grove Avenue.
5:46 p.m.-Officers mediated a dispute between neighbors in the 200 block of South Street.
6:06 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 200 block of Grove Avenue.
11:09 p.m.-A Harding Way East resident reported a person in their backyard. Officers did not locate anyone.

4:01 a.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 900 block of South Market Street.
7:56 a.m.-A report of a reckless driver was investigated in the 200 block of Harding Way East. The driver denied the allegations of speeding and running stop signs but was issued a warning.
12:32 p.m.-Jorge S. Meinzer was issued a citation for driving under suspension on Parsons Street.
5:09 p.m.-James E. Will was issued a citation for driving under suspension on West Parsons Street.
6:57 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile was investigated in the 300 block of South Street.
9 p.m.-Michael Kirst was arrested on a warrant in the 600 block of South Market Street and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held.
11:51 p.m.-A report of fireworks was investigated in the area of Galion Middle School.

7:18 p.m.-A report of a man hanging halfway out of his car passed out in the 300 block of South Street was investigated. The man said he took some medication that made him drowsy. No illegal drugs were found and he refused EMS assistance.
7:40 a.m.-A Sunnyside Drive resident reported their vehicle broken into and change stolen.
11:23 a.m.-An Allen Street resident reported video game items stolen from their residence by someone they know.
4:11 p.m.-A Libby Lane resident reported a fraud incident.
9:03 p.m.-A report of a toddler walking alone in the 300 block of Pine Street was investigated. The mother was located and the child was returned to her.
